To the readers of the Regular Joe, thank you for selecting Grace House as one of your favorite charities. During this time in our lives with gas prices and food prices on the rise even a small gift can be great. It was not the amount of the gift but knowing it came from the heart. Grace House is a labor of love and it was very heartwarming to see LOVE come back full circle. At Grace House we always strive to have a heart for others in need, no matter why or where they may have that need. We say you can have what ever you may find in our store for a SMILE. Well, I truly smiled this week when Jay Kerner called me and told me the good news. It had nothing to do with ranking because all charities who serve are basically trying to reach the needs of the community. I was very proud to be in such an elite group. But being mentioned in The Regular Joe and winning has helped many residents in St. Joe learn about Grace House and realize that they too can share from their heart and bless others.
It really isn’t money; it is the blessing that it brings to know you have opened up your heart, your personal space for someone else. God bless all who are reached by Grace House and thank you to all who gave and cared for someone you may never meet. Thank you so very much.
