I enjoyed your article on page 11 of the last “The Regular Joe.” I would like to propose an area for trash pickup, in addition to your own suggestion. Last week when I took my teenager to Green Hills Grocery off 

St. Joseph Avenue


 I noticed that there was an unfortunate amount of trash in the vacant grassy lot to the north of the store. Without the trash it would be a lovely area… a spot of green within the city limits. So, it was therefore discouraging to have such an urban, bucolic setting marred by such an abundance of trash. With any luck, and weather permitting, we will be able to join you on April the 6th for your trash pickup at 7th and Felix, an area beginning to take on the appearance of urban blight because of the existence of trash.
